Balsham Bowls Club are pleased to announce that Phillip Elliott has been voted to take on the role of chairman of the bowls club. The main aim of the role will be to continue the work of taking the bowls club forward and recruiting new players to the coming seasons. Phil has been a member of the club for the last 34 years so brings with him a wealth of experience. Over the last year he has been part of the subgroup which has recruited new members, introduced coaching, opened the club up to the local community as well as been involved in village events. The committee comprising of Colin Mepsted - President, Phil Elliott - Chairman, John Robinson - Secretary and Steve Thurgood as Treasurer which will work with the team captains and the subgroup to develop the club and ensure its part of the community for years to come.
