For the second successive season our pairs league team won their section winning 9 of 10 games and therefore qualifying for the finals day where the winners and runners up of the two divisions play off to determine the overall winners. We had to play Stoke by Clare in the semi final and were successful by 16 shots. We then had to play Cavendish on their own green and were unfortunately beaten by 13 shots. However it was an enjoyable and successful season and we look forward to next year, when it is hoped the finals day will be held at Balsham.
